Gone to the Print Fair

SUNDAY is the last day to come see the The Baltimore Fair for Contemporary Prints & New Editions at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Come visit me and my work at the MICA Works on Paper table. The fair opens 11am and closes 6pm, students and teachers free, everyone else $12-15. More details at http://www.artbma.org/calendar/special_events/2010-printfair.html

I mean even Bailey would go, if she were allowed in the museum or could get out of bed...

In Studio

I thought it a good time to make a post, as I sit at home in the pouring rain with howling winds listening to old men wail on their guitars and sing the blues.

I started two new drawings the other week...

Upcycle

It always bothered me how much paper and labor I used to waste while printing. I tried my best but there are always ones that don't make the cut or were tests. So for years I've been carrying pounds (yes, pounds) of failed prints. Yesterday I upcycled some of piles of failure into blank greeting cards and postcards. And some of them actually look better in their new cropped and folded formats

Happy Birthday!

I turned 24 last month and forced a few friends to hike in the snow with me
